My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Libby is a 14 month old 5 pound "Deer" Chihuahua--meaning she has long legs.

We got Libby from her owner who had two children, ages 4 years and 2 years. Libby loved the four year old, and would let her carry her around "like a sack of potatoes". However, the 2 year old child hit Libby, so she learned to be afraid of him and would bite him if he had her cornered. Libby is afraid of strangers, in general. That probably means that she was not socialized as a puppy.

Libby is great with her foster mom, now that she has learned to know and trust her. In fact, Libby's favorite spot is on her foster mom's shoulder, not most comfy for her. :) Her Foster mom says of Libby: "She has turned into monster-lovebug. She does great on leash walks, at my side, she stays focused looking straight ahead. If I talk to her, she wants to "ride" instead of walk."

If you know Chihuahuas, you know that this behavior is often found in the Chihuahua breed. You will also know that once the bond of love is established, a Chihuahua will be your friend and protector forever.

Libby has been spayed, vaccinated, microchipped and tested negative for heartworms. Her adoption fee is $250.00.

If you are interested in adopting this cutie, please write us at PricelessPets4u@gmail.com and ask for an application to adopt. We are a foster-home based organization, and the adoption process starts when you submit your application. Once that has been approved, we can schedule a time for you to meet this pet.
