My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi, I'm Daringer. I am a super sweet 6 year old GSD. I am very playful and I get along with cats, dog and kids! I am a big love bug. I am very energetic and I love to be involved with my people. I am house trained, crate trained and doing great with my basic obedience training. I am a very lovable dog, some would call me a Velcro dog. I had a rough start in life but things are looking so much better now that the rescue has me. My family took me to a boarding facility, paid for two weeks and then never came back for me. Despite all of this I am still a happy boy. I am starting in the working dog program to see where my talents are. I have the potential to be a service dog, a therapy dog, scent detection, Search and Rescue, Etc. I am eager to please and a fast learner. Could you be my forever family? Please contact Charlene with For the Love of Dogs Rescue to get an adoption application. You can reach her by email at FTLOD@RoadRunner.com or on her cell phone at 704-402-0622. The application process is a little lengthy but well worth the effort. You get the app, fill it out, the rescue checks your references, vet references, and will do a home visit. If everything checks out then we can schedule a meet and greet, if that goes well then you sign the adoption contract and I get to go home with you. See, its not too bad, the rescue just wants to make sure that I go to the best fit home for me (and for you) My adoption fee includes everything, my vaccinations, spay surgery, microchipping, basic obedience training, house training, crate training, advanced task oriented training (with my handler as a service dog team) Adoption fee: $675
