Ben (Petsmart Everett)'s Story...
Hello there......my name is Ben and I am approx. 4 months old. My mother, brother and I were rescued from outside and we are currently at the Petsmart Everett adoption center. My brother is Jerry and we are very close. We are so close, that we need to be adopted together. We're very sweet and would do well in a quiet home. We are playful but well behaved. We would also do well in a home with older children because we're still kind of small. Please come to the Petsmart Everett store to meet us. If you are interested in meeting us, please email cindyavola@gmail.com and she will be more to arrange a meet and greet. To fill out our adoption application, please visit our website www.happytailspetrescue.org and click on to the ADOPTION APPLICATION link.

Thanks for stopping by. We hope to meet you soon.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ben (Petsmart Everett), a Somerville Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Somerville, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Somerville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Somerville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Somerville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Somerville paves the way for another one to be saved.
