Clancy is best described as a Terrier mix, with possibly some Lhasa Apso, around 2 years of age. He came to us as a stray from a pound but sure cleaned up nicely at the groomer! At about 30 pounds, Clancy is a sturdy little fellow who settled in very well at his foster home, even learning basic commands like sit, fetch, drop and give a paw. He enjoys going for walks, and we are working on his pulling with an Easy Walk harness. Clancy is very energetic and extremely intelligent, and could be good at agility or other canine activity, or even a good running partner to channel his energy. He gets along well with other dogs he meets at the park but would probably do best in a home without cats. Clancy seems uncomfortable around small children, so only teens or older for this guy. He’s playful and affectionate, loves to snuggle and be petted, and will make a great new addition for the right home. His foster has been able to leave him alone and uncrated in house for a few hours at a time. Please complete an adoption questionnaire on our website if you’re interested in providing Clancy with a forever home.
