Peaches's Story...
ADOPTED!! Peaches is a small pony mare who is up for adoption as a pasture pet/companion only. She came to us as part of a neglect case in April 2014--She was roaming a 60 acre field with no human interaction or care for the last 6 years. Her hooves were extremely overgrown and she was covered in burrs.

Peaches has recovered nicely. She does well with others, and is a polite little lady who is sweet as can be, calm, and a little reserved but not overly shy. Peaches is about 10 years old.

Her adoption fee is $300.Peaches is available for adoption in Illinois or within a 3-hour driving radius of Champaign County, Illinois.

Please visit our website: to view our adoption policies and to fill out an adoption application - the first step to adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Peaches, a Dewey Pony - Other was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pony - Other for sale in Dewey, or seeking a Pony - Other from a breeder in Dewey.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dewey already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dewey breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pony - Other breeders who help with Pony - Other rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dewey paves the way for another one to be saved.
