Duke's Story...
Sir Duke aka Grumpy face is the sweetest little boy ever. He LOVES his people. He comes running as soon as he hears me or if I call him...grumpy face changed to big smiley face. He loves giving kisses and cuddling in your lap. His favorite toys are the squeeky toys and loves playing with you with them. He is working on his potty training and does well in the crate at night. I just love his markings. The back of his tail curls up on his back to display the skunk stripe that runs up the back of it. I just love his goucho Marx eye brows. He makes me laugh every time I look into his adorable face. This boy will make a great companion or family pet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duke, a Apex Husky/Redtick Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Redtick Coonhound for sale in Apex, or seeking a Husky/Redtick Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Redtick Coonhound breeders who help with Husky/Redtick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
