Darcie's Story...
Darcie is the most beautiful girl I have seen. Her markings are just stunning. She has the shape of a christmas tree on the back of her neck, white paws and a blaze down her nose. She is a salt and pepper in color except the pepper is a cinnamon color instead. She is great with other dogs and cats as well as children. She is a laid back at times but full of puppy energy at others. She is a full of kisses kind of girl. She loves to snuggle at night on the couch. She is completely housebroken and does well in her crate at night. we guess for her to grow to be no more than 40lbs however with the shepherd in her, she may get a little bigger. Mama is only 35lbs.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darcie, a Apex German Shepherd Dog/Redtick Coonhound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog/Redtick Coonhound for sale in Apex, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog/Redtick Coonhound puppy from a breeder in Apex.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Apex already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Apex breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog/Redtick Coonhound breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog/Redtick Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Apex paves the way for another one to be saved.
