I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with dogs.

Betsy's Story...
Betsy almost didn't make it out of the shelter during July 4th weekend, when her 2 month old puppies still needed to be nursed by her. The REAL Bark scooped her and her puppies up and now Betsy is ready for her forever home! She is a sweet, unusually attractive young girl, ready to find her next life post momma-hood. She bonds quickly with her favorite humans.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Betsy, a Los Angeles Dachshund/Dalmatian dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Dalmatian for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Dachshund/Dalmatian dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Dalmatian breeders who help with Dachshund/Dalmatian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
