Chase's Story...
Chase is a handsome Lab mix rescue dog, looking for his forever family. This lovely boy is about 2 years old and weighs 57 pounds. He enjoys playing and having fun, but he is a calm guy with a mellow personality who will enjoy a cuddle with you. He is good with all other dogs, however he doesn't enjoy the company of cats. Chase has been around children and is good with them. Rescued by our sister organization in Puerto Vallarta Mexico, he has now made his way to foster care in Victoria BC. Chase is neutered, dewormed, and up to date on vaccinations. If you would like to have this sweet addition become a part of your family, please email us at info.pvca@gmail.com for an application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Chase, a Victoria Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Victoria, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Victoria.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Victoria already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Victoria breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Victoria paves the way for another one to be saved.
