My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MOON is a 5 year old neutered black male Lab who weighs 76 pounds but should lose a few of those pounds. Moon's owner has a history of letting him roam as this was his second time to be picked up by Animal Control. This time his owner didn't reclaim him. Moon says that's cool because he wants to find a family who will spend time with him and love him so he'll never want to roam! Moon is a very sweet and friendly boy and is good with other dogs. . He's strong and will pull on a lead so an EZ Walk harness will benefit him. Moon seems to be house trained as he kept his kennel clean. We have no history of Moon with cats. Moon is approved for kids ages 10+.

Update (9/4): Moon is feeling well again and is ready to interview families. This boy has become a favorite at the vet's office. He's gentle, friendly, and funny.

From the transporter: Moon jumped right in the crate and, after a couple of barks to let me know he was ready to go, he settled in for the short ride. Moon is a bit chunky but oh so handsome! He pulls on the lead and is strong.
