Yahtzee's Story...
Yahtzee is a one year old ball of playful energy! He's an American Bulldog/pittie mix who came into the shelter as an unclaimed stray. He has a wonderful temperament - he's immediately affectionate and confident with all people, young and old. He's a high energy dog who will benefit from lots of exercise and play - maybe he can be a running partner or go for hikes? Yahtzee would be good with children 10 and up who can handle his exuberance - he gets excited and jumps up, but it's only to lick your face! This bundle of joy loves other dogs of all sizes - he'd love a play partner. He's very intelligent, so training would be a great way to direct some of his excitement into something productive. if you're looking for an active, fun-loving partner for adventures, just yell, "Yahtzee!"

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Yahtzee, a Oak Park American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Oak Park, or seeking a American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Oak Park.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Oak Park already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Oak Park breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Bulldog/Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Oak Park paves the way for another one to be saved.
