Marley's Story...
My name is Marley I am a black flat coated retriever My foster mom says that I’m about 70 pounds of loving and sweetness - and 16 months young! My foster Mom says I’m a happy, inquisitive little boy with lots of puppy exuberance!
I love to be hugged (and I hug in return) and I give kisses. I enjoy playing with my doggy foster brothers and sisters –but I am dreaming of a home where I could be the only dog
I am happy, smart, very playful and a real cuddlier
I have fears issues that can be work with but I will need some one committed to help me with this
I am just adorable and really sweet. Because of my age, no kids under 12 years old.and at least one person must be retired or work from home and knows the breed
my problem is that I am very shy at first and I need time to warm up to new people because I was very abused when I was a puppy
so I will need a home with a person or two in a calm house with out kids and a nice yard where I can play , I love dogs and cats too
So if I you are looking for a sweet boy fill out an application for me

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marley, a Carlsbad Flat-Coated Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Flat-Coated Retriever for sale in Carlsbad, or seeking a Flat-Coated Retriever puppy from a breeder in Carlsbad.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Carlsbad already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Carlsbad breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Flat-Coated Retriever breeders who help with Flat-Coated Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Carlsbad paves the way for another one to be saved.
