Lilly's Story...
Hi my name is Lilly. When is was only two weeks I got separated from my Mommy and brothers and sisters. Someone found me and took me to me to the county shelter, and luckily some nice people from St. Francis Rescue came and got me!!! I went to a foster home but I was the only kitty there and I missed my Mommy and I cried. So, another nice foster family who had kitties my age took me so I would have company. I have been there for several months and I have so much fun! I get to play with other kitties. We play hide and seek. They go hide and I have to find them. I also love to sit on my foster Mommy and Daddy's lap while they rub my tummy and stroke my head. They say I'm a very sweet, very good girl. Everyone says my stripes are so pretty and that I'm so beautiful. But I need a forever home to go to. Do you want a little girl who is sweet and pretty?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lilly, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
