Farrah's Story...
Hi, I am Farrah and I got to tell you I really am shopping for my new home. I am currently in foster care and we have to share everything. I like being with all the kitties, but every time I play with a toy, a foster sibling comes up and wants it too.

You see, I love to play and climb and run. I was doing great until someone took me to the shelter. Luckily St Francis came in and took me and my sister away. We are so happy to have food to eat and toys to play with. BUT we especially like to be with you. I love to be held and played with. In fact, I love to purr, cuddle close and and be kissed.

I am looking for a home with lots of love. Someone who has time for me and hopefully my sister too. I think I may do well with children, but I am untested. Also, one last thing...I do not like that shelter, I really only want a family who will love me forever. Are you looking for a forever kitten like me? I promise you, I will make you happy!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Farrah, a Tampa Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Tampa, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Tampa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Tampa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Tampa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Tampa paves the way for another one to be saved.
