Opie's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Opie's Story...
Opie DMH Gold Neutered Male DOB 4/3/15. All shots current. This sweet boy was adopted into a home with a lot of children, dogs, other cats and turtles. Three months later the father called (when Mom was out of town) and ask us to take Opie and his brother Otis back.( We have renamed them) He rehomed (with our approval) the third cat that Mom had allowed the children to choose that day in late May. These are extremely loving purr machines that will again fit well into a home with children and other cat friendly animals. Opie has the most beautiful classic tabby markings also called Marble Tabby. He's more solid build than his brother Otis and looks like he might grown into a big guy. Usually the fur in a Medium hair kitten gets a bit longer as he grows. He's been returned to his original Caregiver Kristie who will be more than happy to speak with you about giving this sweet boy a home. Her number is: (828) 312-3746.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Opie, a Morganton Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Morganton, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Morganton.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Morganton already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Morganton breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Morganton paves the way for another one to be saved.
