Hi there...I’m Bianchi! I am a super sweet, cuddly, mature pup…a young 14 years old! Don't let my age fool you, I can run with the best of them. I love to chase my foster sister around the yard and sometimes I out run her. I am happy, healthy and doing very well with house training. I do best when I am kept on a schedule; my foster Mom says I am an easy keeper. I love to go for walks and do great on leash. I mostly just like to hang out with my people and just wait on belly rubs. I'm also pretty determined that I'm going to jump in your bed & burrow under the covers at night. What do ya say…wanna meet me?

If you are interested in adopting Bianchi, you can fill out an application right on our website! Go to dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml. Bianchi 's adoption fee is $250. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Bianchi will go to his/her new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.

DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxie's back.

About DREAM Dachshund Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We envision a time when every dachshund in Georgia has a loving home for its entire life. We believe that the welfare of our companion animals is an indication of the health of our society. We see the current welfare of our companion animals as a disease. To treat the symptoms of this disease, we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome dachshunds in need. To treat the causes of this disease, we educate the public on compassionate dog guardianship of any breed. We want to have a deep, direct impact in a limited geographic area, rather than a small impact in a large geographic area.
