Colby's Story...
Colby (black) and Parker (grey) are two very friendly active kittens that are looking for their happy ending. They were born the end of July 2015. The kittens, who were found on a deck, are the runts of a five-kitten litter from a very young mother. The mother might have abandoned them due to possible eye issues. Both kittens are able to see, although only time will tell how much vision they will have. They have been seen by a veterinarian. Their eyes have been treated and they received their first deworming medication. They have an appointment with an ophthalmic vet. They love to eat and are using the litterbox. When you walk by them, they cry to be picked up and loved. Parker and Colby can usually be seen snuggling each other or wrestling. They are quite the pair. If you are interested in meeting this dynamic duo, please call JoAnn at 908 822-9662 or email 4everscoopin@comcast.net.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Colby, a North Plainfield Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in North Plainfield, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in North Plainfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in North Plainfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a North Plainfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in North Plainfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
