Marlin's Story...
Meet adorable and available Marlin, and his mom Sam. Sam was a stray found by good Samaritan, who brought her in and cared for her. A few weeks later, she had her puppies. She also had an injury to her side, which got worse and she had to go on medication which kept her from nursing the puppies. The good Samaritan who found her sent out a message out to rescues asking for help. This is when we stepped up, and took in a few with the puppies to make sure they were getting everything they needed.

Marlin lives with a cat, other dogs and kids. His foster mom reports him to be a sweet little guy. Marlins adoption fee will be $500 and will include his vaccinations, neuter, microchip, Health certificate and transportation from Memphis to your area. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Marlin, a Hagerstown Golden Retriever/Basset Hound puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Basset Hound for sale in Hagerstown, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Basset Hound puppy from a breeder in Hagerstown.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Hagerstown already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Hagerstown breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Basset Hound breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Hagerstown paves the way for another one to be saved.
