Ladybug is an 8 yr old, 35 lb Border Collie/Poodle mix. She lived her entire life on a logging chain, until her family had to move and couldn’t take her with them. That was her LUCKY day! Lady was freed from her life of imprisonment and became an inside dog! She has impeccable house manners, but is very emotionally needy as a result of years of neglect. Ladybug is a long haired dog, who was shaved to the skin due to severe matting. She plays like a puppy and is full of life!! Ladybug is current on all vaccines, spayed, but is sadly heartworm positive. She has completed treatment and will be retested at her 6 mos marker. She has no symptoms of the illness and is quite active and playful. Ladybug does well with other dogs, but needs her one on one time. She doesn’t seem to mind cats and is friendly to children as well.
APPLICATION AND HOME VISIT REQUIRED. ADOPTION FEE $150
Bluegrass Senior Dog Rescue recruits individuals to foster our dogs on a short or long term basis. The rescue pays for all of the dog’s veterinary care and monthly preventatives while in foster care.
NOTE-Fosters must live within 100 mile radius of Georgetown KY.

BLUEGRASS SENIOR DOG RESCUE ONLY FOSTERS/ADOPTS DOGS THAT ARE FULLY VACCINATED INCLUDING RABIES AND BORDATELLA AND ARE SPAYED/NEUTERED. BEGINNING 2015 ALL ANIMALS ARE MICROCHIPPED AND THE RESCUE PAYS THE REGISTRATION FEE.
