Gigi's Story...
Gigi is special girl that is looking for that family that needs her. She wants to please and is looking for her mom to be the pack leader. She fits the profile of a puppy that was take away from her mom and litter mates way to young. Then grew up in a home with no guidance. She is only a year old and is lacking in basic ability to read other dogs. She never learned the skills that puppies teach each other when they are 4 to 8 weeks old. She is good with other dogs but she needs to be with other dogs that are at least her size and are confident themselves. With them she will do amazing!!! She became her foster moms friend quickly but takes a few days to warm up to others. She is potty trained with a specific schedule and kennel trained.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Gigi, a Phoenix Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
