Meet Betsi. She is a 3-4 year old Husky/Border mix about 30lbs. She is a pretty shy girl, good with other dogs, cats unknown. Older kids would be better for her as she startles with fast movement. Betsi's favorite pass-time is exploring outside. This lovely adult girl has certainly not had the best life so far, but you can change that if you have a little patience; Betsi will be your best friend and enjoy the life she deserves. Betsi is a fun loving girl, she loves to run the yard, play with other dogs and sit right beside you. However, she is very shy at first and some noises, such as the trash truck are very scary for her, but given time she will blossom into the wonderful girl that is truly Miss Betsi. We have come a long way with Miss Betsi. She is still very shy with new things but she is so much better with being outdoors and all the different noises that come along while exploring the yard. She has even been on a few car rides, which is a huge step and has been able to attend her first event. Betsi still has a ways to go but progress has been made and we will keep helping Betsi to show her true sweet personality wherever she goes. Would you be able to love her enough for all of her good qualities and help her with her fears. The reward will be her unconditional love and ever lasting fun!!!  Betsi is a fun loving, sweet girl who would love to have fun filled days with a family of her own. Yes, she is shy and nervous but with a little time and a lot of love, Betsi will show you how to have fun and enjoy everyday. She enjoys the outdoors so much now, and is reacting less and less to the trash trucks. So with time she is overcoming all of her fears and would continue to do so and show her family a good time. Could that family be yours?

It is so hard to believe this special lady hasn't found her forever home yet.  Betsi is on the smaller side, loves attention and is hoping her forever family finds her soon.  Betsi has come such a long way in getting over her shyness and will make the right family a perfect addition.  She's great with other dogs, and LOVES toys, and if they squeak don't worry because she will take care of that squeaker so it doesn't bother you anymore!  Betsi would do best in a home without children as a lot of commotion will make her nervous, but she won't mind visitors as along as she has a safe place to retreat to while you enjoy your company.  What ya waiting for?   Make this lady a part of your family today!!~1/29/17

About Mostly Muttz Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

Mostly Muttz Rescue is an IRS registered, 501(c)3, public charity that is an all-volunteer, foster based canine rescue striving to keep man’s best friend from dying alone in the shelter system.

We believe that every dog, regardless of health, deserves at least a fighting chance to live, to love and to be loved for the entirety of their life. At Mostly Muttz Rescue, we often choose to save dogs suffering from curable illnesses within the shelter system rather than rescuing dogs that will be easy to place.
