Hi! My name is Jax, and I am a beautiful young malamute mix looking for my forever home. A very kind shelter manager took a liking to me and she contacted Moonsong, and they took me under their wing. I was not appreciated in my prior home, I spent most of my time tied up on a chain, can you imagine? Shortly after I was taken to my foster home, I messed myself up a bit by playing too hard with my doggie pals. But I am almost completely recovered from a surgery to repair my knee, and am looking forward to some freedom! Before long I’ll be good as new!

I am shy toward folks to begin with, but I really warm up when I learn they are trustworthy. I will need some positive reinforcement training, I’ve been ignored for far too long. I’m sure glad Moonsong isn’t ignoring me! I’ll be moving to my new foster home very soon, I can’t wait. I will need a family with older children, and if you have dogs I will need proper introduction. And regarding cats, they are for snacks aren’t they? Well, you get what I mean. I have a strong prey drive like many northern breed dogs do.

I am hoping for a new family this year, so I can join everyone else in giving thanks!
