Rue is an easy going female Border Collie mix. She is playful, good around kids, gets along with other dogs and especially loves playing with the puppy in her foster home. She is interested in cats and thinks it's okay to chase them but does not seem to want to hurt them. She does good in her crate, keeps it clean and has done well with going potty outside.
Rue has a minor deformity on her right hind leg and paw. We have no way of knowing if this was from an injury or if it is something she was born with. Our vet believes that she handles the deformity well and there is nothing that needs to be done with it - possibly just some pain medication if it appears that it is bothering her. Rue won't need much walking or extra exercise, especially on harder surfaces like gravel and concrete, because it will irritate her foot. This sweet girl simply needs a loving family and home to call her own.
