Precious is an adorable little 14 pound Shih Tzu who came into rescue because she was removed from her home in an animal cruelty/neglect case. She was held at the shelter as evidence until the court case was completed and then was released to rescue. The vets estimate her age between 9 and 10. Precious will be a cutie as soon as her fur grows back in. She had to be shaved to the skin because she was so matted.

Precious is an easy girl. She likes to lay next to her people on the couch and loves to have her tummy rubbed and under her chin scratched. When she needs to go outside she barks to let you know. Sometimes Precious will bark to tell you to pick her up and put her on the couch beside you even though she can jump up on her own. She is good at people training. Precious does well with other dogs and cats. She deserves a forever home where she will be safe and loved.

Precious is up to date on vaccinations, heartworm negative, microchipped and housetrained.
