My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Karma, a very sweet two year old pit bull. Karma still has some puppy in her, and loves to run and play. She walks nicely on a leash, and in the house she’s busy mastering the art of napping on the couch. She loves children and cuddling.

Karma will make a great family dog for an active family that can give her plenty of exercise and commit to the training that all dogs need. Karma has lived in a number of living arrangements a college dorm with 24 teenagers and a couple with an infant. She gets along great with dog friends both large and small, but will do best as the only dog in the home. She’s also completely housetrained, and responds well to directions.

Before coming to us, Karma spent much of her life moving from shelter to shelter. We’re hoping her name will hold true and she’s close to finding her loving forever home. If you're looking for a fun loving dog who is eager to learn, then Karma may just be perfect for you!

Karma is being fostered in Cambridge.

The adoption fee is $300.

Visual breed identification in dogs is unreliable, so for most of the dogs we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each dog as an individual and will do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not by breed label.

We expect that all adopted dogs will enroll in a formal dog training class with their new owners. Obedience and training classes are an excellent way to learn more about your newly adopted dog, gain handling and training experience, and improve your relationship with your pet.
