Archie's Story...
Say Hi to Archie....This chubby bellied, snub nosed hunk is one of the newest members of the Wilson Animal Rescue family. He was at Memphis Animal Services, and on death row. We know, the story is getting old, we agree....another motherless puppy, who is out of time. Yes, sound like a broken record.

But do you know who isn't a broken record? Archie. He's a man among boys. He's got 4 BFFs and all of them are boxer or bigger dogs. He is learning life from the gentlest of souls and best of fosters. He has won the doggy life lottery just getting to live with them, and some lucky adopter will reap the benefits from his wonderful training and love that he is receiving. We are so pleased to have him with us.

Mr. Archie is being fostered in the Milwaukee area. If you would like to set up a time to meet and greet this adorable love bug, please email us. We'd be happy to put you in touch with his foster mom and dad after we receive your approved application. Archie's adoption fee is $400 and includes his neuter surgery, microchip, 3 sets of shots, deworming, and heart worm preventative.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Archie, a Greenfield Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever/Pointer for sale in Greenfield, or seeking a Labrador Retriever/Pointer puppy from a breeder in Greenfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Greenfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Greenfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever/Pointer breeders who help with Labrador Retriever/Pointer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Greenfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
