Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Kelty is a lovable, sweet, affectionate and loyal, 10-month-old, seven-pound, female Maltese/Yorkie-mix looking for a loving guardian.
Little Kelty is such a devoted and attentive lap dog … she is very social and bonds quickly. She looks lovingly into your eyes. She loves walks and car rides. She sits calmly in the passenger seat.
Kelty was found stray on Chicago’s south side. She landed at Chicago Animal Care and Control and no one claimed her. Luckily she went home as a foster for Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. She has proven herself perfectly crate-trained and housebroken when taken out often. She sleeps quietly in her crate and loves people and other dogs, don’t know if she’s ever met a cat.
To meet and possibly adopt Kelty, please contact her foster mom Gretchen at tall_gretchen@yahoo.com or 773-472-4021 or her cell at 773-608-9040. Her adoption fee of $200 benefits the Friends of Chicago Animal Care and Control. She is very healthy, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, fecal and heartworm-tested.
