My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nelson is a ten week old schnauzer / dachshund mix puppy. He weighs about 6 pounds. He is a shiny black. Look at those ears and those eyes!! There are just not enough words to describe Nelson's CUTENESS!! Nelson is looking for a home to call his. He wants to be pampered and loved the rest of his life!

If you are interested in giving Nelson a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Here is the link: www.facebook.com/pages/MAR-Mercer-Animal-Rescue-501c3/374149832631589
Or an application can be downloaded from our web site www.merceranimalrescue.org

You can also email us at merceranimalrescue@gmail.com and we will email an application to you. Feel free to call Beverly at 901-651-6322 or Angela at 203-909-8861 anytime with questions.

Nelson's adoption donation is $550 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, bordetella (kennel cough), vet examination, heart worm meds, flea / tick meds, certificate of health and transportation fee.

Nelson is living with a foster family in Tennessee. He will travel to this new family by professional pet transport once she has been adopted. We use a weekly transport to the northeast and a twice monthly transport to the Chicago.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
