Cesar's Story...
I am Cesar. I am thoughtful, I am curious, I am a bit shy but getting more used to this new situation each day. I was never allowed in the house, I didn't dare go on a bed, but I climbed on to the humans last night and no one said a word. It was so soft and I was very happy to be this close to the human. Another great thing is that the fleas are gone so I don't have to scratch myself all day. I am feeling very good about having a human pay attention to me and am learning all about being a playful dog. I am only 7 pounds but am thin so this good food I am getting makes me feel even better. If you would like more info please send in your application to adopt found on the web page and someone will contact you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cesar, a San Diego Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in San Diego, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in San Diego.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in San Diego already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a San Diego breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in San Diego paves the way for another one to be saved.
