My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Calvin is about a 9/10 week old schnauzer / dachshund mix, who weighs around 5 pounds. And he is adorable!!!!

Calvin is neutered, and very healthy, playful with the friendliest personality.
Calvin is a delightful little puppy, who likes to play with toys and gets along all other puppies in his foster home. It is fun to watch him play tug of war with the rope toy.

Calvin will make a good family member for any number of people. He would love someone, who will teach him how to walk on a leash, and will have the energy to play ball or any number of dog/people games. This charming puppy is at the perfect age to be adopted, and should provide many years of love and affection.

If you are interested in giving Calvin a wonderful home, go to our Facebook page and download the application from the "Notes" section. While you are there, please "Like" our page to see our new available dogs and keep up with upcoming events.

Calvin's adoption donation is $550.00 which helps to cover the neutering, shots, flea/tick prevention, heart worm prevention, vet examination, certificate of health and transportation.

Calvin is fostered with a family in Tennessee and will travel to his new family once he has been adopted. We use a professional pet transport to the northeast and Chicago areas.

Our primary source of funding comes from this adoption donation. This donation allows us to rescue other dogs in danger of being put to sleep, injured or sick dogs and dogs that have never known the comfort of a home
