Penny's Story...
How cute is little Penny?! This precious 7 year old female Cocker Spaniel is looking for a new place to call home. Penny was originally found as a stray by a kind citizen and was taken care of for quite some time before the finders decided it was time to re-home her. Penny has been doing great here, and is such a doll! She is fantastic with other dogs, and has done well with all the kids who have visited with her. She loves relaxing in her soft dog bed, and enjoys going outside on nice days for fresh air. She would be a great friend to take out on regular walks around the neighborhood. She will need a new family that is able to take her to the groomers and brush her out regularly, so that she doesn't become matted. She has developed a cataract in one of her eyes, but the vet said there was nothing to be concerned about, and that Spaniels often develop eye issues earlier in life. Penny is spayed, up to date on her vaccinations, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Stop by to visit with beautiful Penny today! We are open from 12-6 daily!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Penny, a Benbrook Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Benbrook, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Benbrook.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Benbrook already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Benbrook breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Benbrook paves the way for another one to be saved.
