My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Miss Morgan (6 years old and 122lbs) is playful and gets along well with other large dogs, she has been fostered with a 110lb male Siberian. It took some time and she did have to place herself as the dominate. After 3 days of sniffing, growling and showing teeth he relented and now they lay side by side everywhere. She loves to play tag with my dog, romping around the back yard more like puppy than an adult. She doesn't give my cat a 2nd glance, walking around or over her if she's laying in the floor.

She hasn't been around small children but given her sweet affectionate personality I can almost bet she will be a child’s best friend. She prefers being with my 14 year old daughter in her room versus anywhere else in the house.

She will need some tender patience and training when it comes to obedience. She is smart and I'm sure given patience she will learn obedience quickly.

She can spot a squirrel a block away so if you have a squirrel problem (like I do) you won't leave Morgan in the yard! Once she got comfortable she found her bark and lets me know something is going on in the neighborhood. She doesn't bark in the house unless someone she doesn't know enters and she doesn't bark at night.

Morgan is a snorer when sleeping and she is a deep sound sleeper. I often have to touch her awake to go outside. She happily wags her tail so if you have anything of value at tail height you may want to move it. 😊

Morgan enjoys being outside if you are outside, she doesn't like being outside alone, even with other pets, she prefers being where the people are. She will follow you around be it in the yard or the house until she realizes your area not leaving then she will find a spot to lay quietly and keep a watch out for squirrels.

Morgan is adorable and so very sweet, she needs a patient loving family ready to both give and receive unconditional love! An adoption application, site visit, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Morgan. With very few exceptions, a visible, securely fenced yard is required to adopt from NSGPR.
