My brother and I ended up at a shelter and we were pretty sick. We were so full of hookworms that we were dangerously anemic. It was so bad that we were rushed to a veterinary clinic so that we could have blood transfusions. Everyone was worried that we might not make it.
But as you can see, here I am all healthy and happy and ready for adoption! My brother made it, too! Almost a happy ending except now we need to find our forever home.
Since I am so young, I do love to play with other dogs and I like to chew on things – if you make sure I have some nyla bones or other appropriate doggie chews, then I probably won’t chew on furniture or other no-no’s for puppies.
I haven’t met any cats yet so am not sure what I think of them.
I am crate trained and doing really well on the housetraining but I am use to a fenced yard. I haven’t been walked much on a leash yet so it may take some time and patience from you if you do not have a fenced yard.
Were you looking for a smaller dog that is really young? Here I am! Apply for me!

Our application can be found online at
here.
Our adoption fee for dogs that are not seniors is $220. All dogs are spayed or neutered and up to date on vaccines and heartworm.
Our adoption process includes an application, personal and vet reference checks, and a home visit. We do not ship dogs under any circumstances.
We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To view our dogs, please check our front page for the dates of our next Pet Parade. Appointments outside of Pet Parade to visit our dogs are only available after an application has been filled out, and processing has begun.
Please be kind to our volunteers. E-mail inquiries will be answered much faster than phone inquiries; our phone number is a voice mailbox only.
