Summer's Info...

I am already spayed and up to date with shots.

Summer's Story...
Summer is a spayed female lab mix, approx 8 years old. She came to us recently with her friend gunner when their beloved mistress passed away. Summer is well behaved, sweet natured and good with other dogs. We don't know about cats. Summer will make a wonderful companion for someone who is looking for a buddy to share good times with. She's just the right size--approx 45 lbs or so, walks well on a leash, and would like someone to watch football with.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Summer, a Loudonville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Loudonville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Loudonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Loudonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Loudonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Loudonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
