Lewis's Story...
Lewis is a quiet little guy who loves to play with his fur buddies. Lewis and his sister, Sophia, came to us as a group of five orphans that were split up between two nursing moms to give them a better chance to experience being cared for by a mother cat rather than bottle-fed. Being 2 weeks younger than the rest, Lewis had to be tough to keep up with his littermates. Lewis is a very sweet boy. He has been vet checked, microchipped, neutered, vaccinated (age appropriate), de-wormed, and tested negative for FIV/Feluk. Call 507-451-4512 to meet Lewis in his foster home. His adoption fee is $150. (PJ)

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lewis, a Owatonna Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Owatonna, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Owatonna.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Owatonna already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Owatonna breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Owatonna paves the way for another one to be saved.
