Mister's Story...
Is it just us, or does Mister have the most heart melting eyes?! Mister is something of a heart melter himself, too! At 7 years young, he's past all those silly puppy antics and knows the benefit of nap time and a warm lap to hang out in. He's looking to be someone's furever couch potato! Mister doesn't ask for much, just to call you furever. He's a mellow guy and gets along well with the other dogs in the room. He loves to go on little walks and then curl up next to you to relax. Mister's favorite things are belly rubs and you can win him over quickly with a few treats and some belly rubs! ;-)

Looking for a loveable little lap dog? At just 7 pounds, Mister fits that bill! You can meet Mister in Chi Town at the Maricopa County Animal Care & Control, West shelter at 2500 S. 27th Ave., Phx Az. Hours are from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Mon-Fri and 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sat & Sun. Mister's adoption fee is $20 and includes Rabies certificate, county license and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mister, a Phoenix Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher breeders who help with Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
