Cecil's Story...

Cecil is a good-looking, adult rat terrier with a bobtail.  His body is all white except for a brown patch on his back and his face is mostly brown with a white muzzle.  He was a Cherokee County Stray (no location given).  At input on 8/29/15, he weighed about 27 lbs and was about 2 and a half years old.  Cecil is being neutered and brought up-to-date on his vaccines.  This is an adorable, sweet and happy small dog with a great personality.  He will make a wonderful pet for a family with children.  If you want to adopt Cecil, please email Davalee Hitchcock at davalee@fastmail.fm.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cecil, a Marble Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Marble, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Marble.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Marble already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Marble breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Marble paves the way for another one to be saved.
