Prince's Story...
Prince (formerly Arrow) is a sweet little fella who must be tough as nails! Back in 2015, Prince was found roaming the desert in the middle of summer with a group of stray Chihuahuas! Big Hearts pulled him from the shelter after his harrowing experience and found him a great mom. Unfortunately, she passed away last month, so Prince is in need of a new forever family.

Prince is a very affectionate little couch potato with lots of love and snuggles left to share! This adorable guy has the sweetest sad puppy-dog eyes that he uses to his full advantage. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and ready to take full advantage of another chance at a forever home!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Prince, a Mesa Dachshund/Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Chihuahua for sale in Mesa, or seeking a Dachshund/Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Mesa.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mesa already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mesa breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Chihuahua breeders who help with Dachshund/Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mesa paves the way for another one to be saved.
