Male pit mix
Approx 1 year old
Approx 45-50 lbs
We think this poor boy was used as a bait dog
He has been at the vet getting wounds on his neck treated
He's feeling much better and is now at the pound waiting for his chance at a better life
Despite his ordeal he is SUPER sweet
A little mushball that just wants to melt into you
He is terrified of the leash and clearly has never been on one before so he will need some leash training.
We will get more pictures, video and do a dog introduction now that he is at the pound, however he was nonreactive to dogs at the vet.
IF INTERESTED IN ADOPTING PLEASE EMAIL CTSHELTERDOGS@GMAIL.COM
PLEASE TAKE ADOPTION SERIOUSLY, DOGS CANNOT BE RETURNED TO THE SHELTER. THANK YOU.

Act quickly to adopt Georgie. Pets at this Shelter may be held for only a short time.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Georgie, a Bloomfield Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Bloomfield, or seeking a Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Bloomfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Bloomfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Bloomfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Bloomfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
