Here's what the humans have to say about me:
I’m Laughing Langston, a 2 year old male Red Heeler. I weigh about 25 pounds, but I do need to gain some weight. I have recently been rescued by Critter Cavalry from a local kill shelter. I had been running as a stray and when my owner was called, they didn’t come and get me. Then I had to be held at the shelter as a stray for a very long time. My first days were spent just trying to make sense of this nice foster mom who didn’t scold me or hit at me. They think my former family just fussed at me mostly because I was always expecting to be hit. But after the past month in my foster home I am back to my confident Heeler/Cattle Dog self and I am going to make someone an outstanding pet that is smart, intense and ready for a challenging game. I am crate trained and housetrained. Hey, I catch on fast because I am a Cattle Dog; one of the smartest breeds on the earth. When my foster mom says “sit”…I know what she means and I sit down. I am very gentle even when I take my treats. I love to run and play in the fenced yard with some of my other foster brothers and sisters. I am now looking for new people to love me and make me their very own. If you love Heelers then you will love what I have to offer you; a lifetime of total devotion, love, intelligence, excitement and companionship. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED.
