Sophie's Story...
What a beautiful girl! That's what everyone says when they meet me. I
guess I should trust what they say about my soft coat & big dark eyes,
though a lady shouldn't be preoccupied with her looks. What's inside is
more important. My name is Sophie & I'm about 7 months old. Though the
volunteers aren't sure of my breed mix, their best guess is that I'm an
Eskimo Spitz mix. I only weigh about 25 lbs. & have a slender body. I'm
living with a most wonderful foster family because my former people
couldn't keep me. They moved & I was left alone in the house. My foster is
teaching me house manners & I'm learning quickly. I'm sweet with children
& very friendly & affectionate with all people. I love going for walks,
playing with toys, being cuddled & going for car rides. I'm healthy & have
been spayed, vaccinated & heartworm tested. I'd love a patient family who
can give me the attention I crave. Please contact pals@psknet.com for an
adoption application to make me yours.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sophie, a Radford American Eskimo Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Eskimo Dog for sale in Radford, or seeking a American Eskimo Dog dog from a breeder in Radford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Radford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Radford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Eskimo Dog breeders who help with American Eskimo Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Radford paves the way for another one to be saved.
