My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sassy is a 4 yr old spayed female Great Pyrenees who came to our Rescue from a farm in KY. Her weight is about 90 #’s. She was an outdoor guardian in KY and the previous owner describes her as a “great guard dog”. She is good with children, loud noises and will play with cats. She respected electric fencing on the farm.

Sassy's current foster mom:says don't let her name mislead you. Sassy is one of the most docile low keyed dogs. She does not pull on lead while walking, she loves to meet new people, is great with dogs outside (inside dogs make her nervous and grumpy), is great around cats and young children. She really enjoys her daily walks and soaks up as much attention as possible! She is a great house guardian but that does come with the barking. She is extremely picky with her food but foster mom has found something she loves! Sassy is up-to-date on vaccinations and micro-chipped, and ready for a committed loving home.

An adoption application, site visit, secure visible fencing, and an adoption fee are required to adopt Sassy. With very few exceptions, a visible, securely fenced yard is required to adopt from NSGPR.
