Heddie is Magical's Story...
Sweet Heddie! Oh how we love her! She's anywhere between 1 year and 2 years old and weighs 27 lbs. If we had to guess her breed we would say she was a cross between a Border Collie and an Italian Greyhound (legs for days) but we have no idea! She's just a delight and that is all we know! She adores other dogs and would thrive in a home with a buddy. She is house broken, crate trained, current on vaccinations, spayed, and microchipped. Heddie can be shy at first but warms up quickly. Whoever is lucky enough to adopt this little treasure will win the jackpot. Please visit our website for an application at www.apurposefulrescue.org

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Heddie is Magical, a Los Angeles Border Collie/Italian Greyhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Italian Greyhound for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a Border Collie/Italian Greyhound dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Italian Greyhound breeders who help with Border Collie/Italian Greyhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
