Here's what the humans have to say about me:
This handsome fellow is Dodger! He came to us from a high-kill shelter in GA and has proven to be the sweetest boy ever! Dodger was a bit shy at first, but he quickly warmed up to us once he realized he was safe and had an endless supply of treats and love! Dodger gets along so well with all the other dogs in the rescue and loves to play! He is very eager to please and is also quite smart. We feel that Dodger would make a great addition to any family so please consider him in your search for a new furry friend!
Dodger is neutered, microchipped, heartworm negative, dewormed an current on all vaccines.
Our adoption process begins with you meeting Dodger. Feel free to schedule a play date with him and your existing dog(s). After you fill out an application, we will verify your references and do a brief home inspection. If all goes well, we will deliver Dodger to you for a small adoption fee. You will also have the option to purchase a large wire kennel for an additional fee. We then ask that you sign our adoption contract. We will do a follow-up visit approximately two weeks to one month after the adoption to ensure that Dodger is adjusting well to his new home and that he is happy and healthy.
We feel our adoption process is the best way to vet good owners and to guard against people seeking dogs for dog fighting, bait dogs, and/or dog sales. We only have our rescue dogs' best interest in mind and we do everything we can to ensure that they go to the very best home and that it's the perfect fit.
