Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Winnie. I was an owner surrender because they didn’t have much time for a puppy. I’m a very affectionate 9mo. old black and white. Some people mistake me for a skunk from the back because of the white stripe down my neck. But I promise you I don’t smell like one! I smell like puppy.
I would like to request that I go to a home with another dog--one that can tolerate my energy level and not get mad at me. If you don’t have another dog, that’s ok too. I don’t mind all the attention, because I need lots of it! I’m high energy, need my exercise, need lots of play.
I’m not fully grown yet so I can’t quite jump a fence, but require one if you have a yard. If you have kids, I’m good with slightly older ones; I haven’t quite learned how to put my brakes on when running around the house and don’t want to hurt anyone.
The most important thing you should know about me is that I’m still young and still learning, so my new family needs to have lots of patience. I’m picking up quickly on how to play like a husky. I’m also learning how to tell my foster mom when I have to go potty: I sit and face the door we go out to get to the big green patch!
Oh, belly rubs are a must & I love to share a bed with my foster mom. I can sleep in my crate but I'm most happy being with the pack. And I hope you don’t mind if I take a shower with you. I love to stick my face behind the curtain and lick the water.
