Dominic's Story...

Dominic will be neutered prior to leaving the shelter. He came in showing a severe reaction to fleas. He is starting to heal. He needs some puppy training and a strong leader in his life. Once he knows he is secure, he snuggles and loves and can't be touched enough.

If you wish to meet Dominic, please visit the Humane Society of York County at 8177 Regent Parkway, Fort Mill, SC during our adoption hours Tues. - Sun. 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Dominic, a Fort Mill Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rottweiler for sale in Fort Mill, or seeking a Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Fort Mill.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Fort Mill already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Fort Mill breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rottweiler breeders who help with Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Fort Mill paves the way for another one to be saved.
