Hey! We're Cow and Whitey, a bonded girl and boy bun who have been through a lot together. We were dumped in a neighborhood last year and soon afterwards took up residence in the backyard of a friendly couple. They befriended us by feeding us yummy veggies, and they even got us food and water dispensers to have outside. When some very cold, wet weather arrived in the fall, the people in the house worried that we would not do so well outside, so they decided to bring us into their house, at least temporarily, so that we could stay warm and dry. Little did the people know, we were expecting, and soon after entering their home, Cow delivered a litter of eight baby buns in a nest box built by her human friends, who now had 10 bunnies in their kitchen! Cow did a great job raising her babies, and all grew up to be healthy. We are fixed now, so we don't have to worry about raising more babies! We are sweet, gentle bunnies, and Cow is a particularly smart bunny. We love each other very much, and we constantly cuddle with each other. Fresh fruits and veggies are a favorite of ours, which we will take from your hand. We are good at using our litterbox, and we like to be brushed and talked to by humans. We are quite a pleasant couple, and while we are glad all of our babies have found their forever homes, we would love to have our own!

About Bunny Buddies, Inc.

About Our Rescue Group...

We are the primary house rabbit rescue in the Houston Area. We work with area shelters to move rabbits into foster care (particularly rabbits in danger of euthanasia) and with owner surrenders when the owner is willing to "Foster in Place" (continue to provide space and care for the rabbit(s) while we assist in facilitating an adoption.
Through partnerships with area veterinarians, we spay/neuter all of the rabbits in our foster care as well as many rabbits in area shelters. We work to educate the public about house rabbits and their care and the need for spay/neuter. We encourage responsible adoptions to indoor homes and discourage impulse adoptions/purchases (particularly "Easter bunnies").

Come Meet Our Pets...
