Please read the bio before emailing us as most of your questions will be answered below.

If you would like to meet this animal or anyone else, please fill out the on-line adoption application at and the foster will be in touch within 7 days once the application is processed! Keep in mind that there may be multiple applicants applying for the same animal(s). You only need to complete 1 application for multiple animals that you're interested in. t's advised to submit an application immediately Emails will slow down the process, and while you are awaiting an email response which can take several days, we may get applications. Submitting an application does not commit you to any animal, but is required prior to making arrangements for a meet and greet.. We can't schedule meet and greets until the application is submitted and approved. We don't have a building so there are no viewing hours. All of our animals are cared for in foster homes by wonderful families who volunteer their time to save these precious souls. We are sorry but we can't do out of state adoptions on puppies who are not yet fixed. We are all volunteers and work as quickly as possible between jobs and family, and we thank you in advance for your patience.

Meet beautiful Mishka. As of Setember 1st is weighs 7.9 lbs and was born around 6/22/15. Mishka has a wonderful temperament. She Loves to explore the yard, and she is a loving, and happy little pup. She Loves to give puppy kisses to show how much she enjoys being with you. She is being fostered in a Plainfield home around teen children who she loves, other dogs who she is great it, however we don't know about kitties as the foster has non. Mishka is being foster with her sibling Rascal.

Puppies have special needs and require a home where there will be someone available to care for, socialize, and train them during the day. If your family is away from the home all day, and you don't plan on enrolling in doggy daycare or have someone come over, please consider adopting a “teen” or adult dog.

The adoption fee is $350 and includes the spaying which will be done when she is a little older, but paid for by one of our participating vets, and you will receive a spay/coupon for that She has had two DHPP puppy vaccinations, microchip, deworming with panacur, received Revolution for the preventation of fleas and heartworm, parvo tested which was negative, 1st vet visit at one of our participating vets, and any other medical. She was receiving medicated baths for the last 3-4 weeks for a skin condition that may have been mange. She is all better now and her coat is beautiful!

We must have an application, sometimes a home visit, reference checked including the vet of current and/or past cats and/or dogs, to approve an application. At the meet and greet, we will need to meet all members of the family including any four legged doggies in your home to assure everyone gets alone. Please note that the breeds and sizes posted in this biography are educated best guesses and are not guaranteed.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mishka, a Naperville Australian Shepherd puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Shepherd for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Australian Shepherd puppy from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Shepherd breeders who help with Australian Shepherd rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
