One of the things that warms our hearts is when dogs come into Our Pal’s Place so grateful for freedom that they run full force around their fenced yard with a smile on their face. They now know safety. This is the story of Nila. She had been brought into the county shelter as a hold “while some things about her previous owner had to be straightened out.” We don’t know what that meant, but we do know that this sweet girl enjoys running and playing, and is sincerely grateful for everything she has. If you are looking for an active companion who will help you enjoy life, meet Nila!

About Our Pals Place

About Our Rescue Group...

Our Pal’s Place is an animal advocate organization with a pet adoption facility and education center, located in Marietta, Georgia. Our mission is to provide solutions that improve the future for animals. We also run a summer camp program teaching children the importance of spay & neuter and kindness to animals.

Our purpose is to rescue animals from euthanasia at local animal control shelters. When entering the shelter, we first meet the animals who are on "death row". If we believe we can find the animal a good home, we bring them into our organization. We provide safe housing, food, basic training, necessary rehabilitation and a lot of TLC! The animals receive full veterinarian care and are spay/neutered. Meanwhile, we work to find these homelss animals a "forever home".

Rescue and adoption is an important step to helping homeless animals, but will not resolve the overpopulation problem, eliminate animal cruelty or prevent dog fighting. For this reason, Our Pal's Place is dedicated to providing solutions to current animal welfare issues through our education center and community outreach programs. In a positive, fun environment we teach solutions and provide hands-on learning experiences for youth and adults.

Puppy (9 months or younger): $200 – includes puppy vaccinations completed as of the time of adoption and spay/neuter

Throughout the adoption application process, Our Pal’s Place will act in accordance with what we feel is in the best interest of our dogs. Our decisions are based on what we know about our dog’s temperament, background and current needs. If multiple applications are received for a dog, we will review all applications equally vs accepting the first application. All decisions are made jointly by the Adoption Management Team.
