My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peke was rescued from a kill shelter and is truly thankful. Peke's rescue hero was adamant about saving her from the shelter. Only to later find out through high vet bills out of her own pocket of her illness. After Peke was rescued and her illness properly diagnosed, Peke's rescuer suddenly died from a heart attack. She loved this little dog, and at Heave a Heart we are here to help complete the rescue operation in finding Peke a permanent loving home. Peke is a very mellow apple head Chihuahua, she enjoys sitting by you and all kinds of petting. Peke can not be spayed because of her heart condition, so she must be kept protected from those boys. Peke has a stage 5 heart murmur, does not show any sign of heart disease and will have to be on inexpensive meds for the rest of her life.
